Major: Urban Studies, Data Science

Hi, my name is Bella-Ngoc Huynh! I'm a second-year majoring in Urban Studies and intended Data Science. It can be easy to simply focus on our individual lives, without ever truly contributing to the community. Rather than being stuck in the Berkeley bubble, I wanted to give back and be surrounded by passionate individuals. I especially love The Berkeley Project because it enables others, including myself, to interact in such rewarding ways with the greater community that we are inherently a part of.

About Me: Likes reading, long walks on the beach, playing catch, STEM About You: Loves volunteering, dogs I’m in the Berkeley Project because I firmly believe in the idea that our relationships with the people surrounding us exist largely due to our interactions with and perceptions of our immediate environment. Through BP, I think students and residents can connect on a more intimate level, and get together to beautify Berkeley and establish it as our own.

Year: Sophomore

Major: Economics, Integrative Biology

Hi, I'm Ellen! This is my third semester in The Berkeley Project, and I'm so excited to be one of this year's Co-Event Planning Directors. Berkeley Project has quite a special place in my heart; from being one of the first organizations I joined on campus to now being my "home" away from home - I wouldn't be able to imagine a life without it. I'm so grateful for the connections I've fostered so far (with my BP "family," volunteers, and even with the city of Berkeley itself) and I can't wait for y'all to become a part of it all!
